Our Mission
To ensure no veteran's story is forgotten.
The Veterans Honor Project is a non-partisan tribute — a digital memorial built by and for the families, friends, and communities of those who served.
Why We Exist
A nation remembers best when its people speak up.
More than 16 million Americans have served in uniform since World War II. Every one of them came home — or didn't — with a story worth preserving.
The Veterans Honor Project began with a simple idea: that a grateful nation owes its veterans more than one day of recognition. We owe them the patience to listen, the resources to heal, and the long memory to never forget.
We are not a fundraising organization. We don't take donations. We exist to gather stories, connect families with vetted support, and point our visitors to the organizations doing the real work — every day of the year.
